Along with Hungarian authors and their new works, the tenth instalment of the Margó Literary Festival and Book Fair presents renowned international writers, like Deborah Feldman, the author of Unorthodox, which has been adapted for film with great success, Jón Kalman Stefánsson of the Heaven and Hell trilogy, New York Times bestselling author Jennifer Teege, Alex Schulman, who authored Sweden’s current book of the year, Gaëlle Josse, who won the European Union’s award, and Irene Solà, the most important author of recent Catalan literature.
Aurevoir bring melodies and poetry to the festival: along with their own songs, which fuse Hungarian, Irish and Balkan folk with the beat music of the 1960s, they also play settings of poems by Radnóti, Pilinszky and Attila József. Csík Band premieres its production Belefér egy pici szívbe (Fits a Tiny Heart), which sets to music Krisztián Grecsó’s poems for children.
Among others, Imre Bartók, Ádám Berta, Ádám Bodor, Vilmos Csányi, János Háy, Orsolya Karafiáth, László Kollár-Klemencz, Béla Markó, Márk Mezei, Ági Pataki, Márton Simon, László Szilasi, Kata Tisza, and Krisztina Tóth will present their new books at the Margó Festival.

This event of the Liszt Fest is presented by Müpa Budapest as a joint event with Kultúrkombinát Kft.
